Can you tell me the geometry(around the carbon/oxygen atom) and whether this is polar or non polar CH3CH3? thx
CH3CH3 has C-H polar bonds (but they aren't very polar; in fact, some organic chemists say it is so very slightly polar that they count it as non-polar. The molecule as a whole is non-polar. The geometry is tetrahedral. You don't have an oxygen in the molecule.
