My teacher wants me to tell her what the climate is like in alaska but i cant seem to find anything about it in simple terms.... what is a good way to put it??

PLEASE HELP ME

It's not simple at all because the towns and city (Anchorage) along the coastlines have different (less severe, if you can believe it!) climates than those in the interior have.

Here's climate information for Anchorage -- http://www.google.com/search?q=anchorage+ak+climate&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&client=firefox-a&rlz=1R1GGLL_en___US379

and here is climate information for Fairbanks -- http://www.google.com/search?q=anchorage+ak+climate&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&client=firefox-a&rlz=1R1GGLL_en___US379#hl=en&sugexp=llsfp&pq=fairbanksak%20climate&xhr=t&q=fairbanks+ak+climate&cp=10&qe=ZmFpcmJhbmtzIGFrIGNsaW1hdGU&qesig=EQfSNE0OSpdRkmUlzP-9VA&pkc=AFgZ2tkqZ1LyzZ7UFYZIFoPkss441wX2-cVfaKhbRNklwGFqZWfWnXWC9rx255TZdviX-fgyZtrm8cx04TKqD9n0SSltSIoU9g&pf=p&sclient=psy&client=firefox-a&hs=MWw&rlz=1R1GGLL_en___US379&aq=0&aqi=&aql=&oq=fairbanks+ak+climate&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=1fd3bc16a86a49f1

Here are some other places to look up, too. You may need to write up what they all have in common if that's what your teacher wants.

Juneau
Kodiak
Seward
Nome
Point Hope
Prudhoe Bay
Pt. Barrow

And here is a good map that shows you the regions that Alaskans recognize in their state:
