my last question was actually about a guy named Lord Durham who said that the French should speak an learn English values (culture, etc). So, why do u think he not have been more guarded about what he said, as modern politicians often are.
I don't know anything about Canadian politicians, but some U.S. politicians often say some outrageous things. They lose support as people realize they are idiots.
