What can I write about for an event from my life. I need something that I can write a lot about and would be interesting to my classmates
Hmm! Have you climbed Mt. Everest? Have you traveled to all of the continents? Did you get kidnapped in Katmandu?

The secret to this assignment is to find an event that was important or funny or tragic in your life. Then, write about it in ways that will draw in your classmates. For instance, when I was a toddler, I'm told that I tried to fly like a large bug. I don't remember it, but I vaguely remember skinned knees. With a little imagination, that could be a humorous story. One of my granddaughters wrote seriously about the death of much-loved grandmother. Another wrote about her father's emotional distance from her.
