A team of dogs is pulling a sled that has a load of 2500 kg at a constant speed of 5.0 m/s. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the sled and the snow is 0.10. What is the horizontal force the dogs are exerting on the loaded sled?


The horizontal force is equal to the weight of the sled times mu.

Fhorizontal=mu*mg

When speed is constant, that means acceleration is zero.
