Soil Fertility
I have to determine what color topsoil is most fertile. I'm not sure if it would be dark brown (because it reflects a lot of broken down organic material) or red (because it's clay, and clay is good for agriculture). What do you think?
1 answer
Definitely not red. A little clay is good -- but red soil has too much clay to be good for growing many crops.
