Does anyone know any good websites where I could find information on the Concentration Camps in Europe during WW2?

Thanks

Check these sites. The second and third sites have many links to other sites. I'm not sure how many of the sites in the third one are still active -- but at one time it was the best collection of Holocaust information on the web.

Thanks, its so hard to find good information that's actually true!

The first two sites are edu (education sites) so that's a good indication they are reliable. I knew the web master for the third site -- TeacherNet -- and I know she wouldn't have included any false site. She was passionate about collecting accurate information -- especially about the Holocaust.

Absolutely! There are several reliable websites where you can find information on the concentration camps in Europe during World War II. Here are a few recommended options:

1. United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) - The official website of the USHMM is an excellent resource for researching the Holocaust. It provides comprehensive information about the concentration camps, including historical context, survivor testimonies, photographs, and various educational resources. You can access it at https://www.ushmm.org/.

2. Yad Vashem - Yad Vashem is the World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Israel. Their website offers an extensive online archive with valuable information about the concentration camps. It includes survivor testimonies, documents, photographs, and historical context. Visiting their website at https://www.yadvashem.org/ can provide you with valuable insights.

3. Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum - Auschwitz was one of the most notorious Nazi concentration camps. The official website of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum provides detailed information about the camp's history, survivors' stories, photographs, and documents. You can access it at http://auschwitz.org/.

4. Holocaust Education & Archive Research Team (HEART) - HEART is an online platform that offers comprehensive information about the Holocaust and concentration camps. Their website contains numerous resources, including articles, photographs, survivor testimonies, and historical documents. You can explore their materials at https://www.holocaustresearchproject.org/.

Remember to critically evaluate the information you find and cross-reference various sources to ensure accuracy. Reading books on the subject or consulting academic databases can also provide further in-depth information.
