I posted a question before about the movie Excalibur. I am supposed to watch this movie and make a powerpoint presentation illustrating one of the Arthurian legends. I need to know if Excalibur is a cartoon or if it is a rated R movie. I have found two versions of Excalibur and I have no clue which I am to watch? Does anyone know of any other King Arthur movies that could illustrate an Arthurian legend? Thanks.

I've only heard of the movie, Excalibur, not any cartoon, but there could be something out there. This movie, though, is what many teachers used in their classes after teaching the King Arthur legend, "Gawain and the Green Night," and other works.

Thank you so much!

To find out if the movie Excalibur is a cartoon or rated R, you can follow these steps:

1. Use a search engine like Google to look up the movie "Excalibur."
2. Read the search results and look for trusted sources like IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes.
3. Click on the link that leads to a reputable movie review or information source.
4. Look for the movie's rating. If it is rated R, it means it contains adult content and is not suitable for children.
5. Additionally, you can also look for keywords like "animated" or "cartoon" to determine if it is an animated film.

As for other King Arthur movies, here are a few popular ones that can help illustrate different Arthurian legends:

1. "King Arthur" (2004) directed by Antoine ua: This movie offers a fresh take on the legend, focusing on the historical context and a more realistic portrayal of Arthur.
2. "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" (1975) directed by Terry Gilliam and Terry Jones: This is a comedic interpretation of Arthurian legends by the famous British comedy group, Monty Python.
3. "First Knight" (1995) directed by Jerry Zucker: This movie centers around the love triangle between King Arthur, Guinevere, and Lancelot, and explores the themes of honor and chivalry.
4. "Camelot" (1967) directed by Joshua Logan: This movie is a classic musical adaptation of the Arthurian legend, based on the Broadway show of the same name.
5. "The Sword in the Stone" (1963) - Although it is an animated film, it is geared towards a younger audience. It tells the story of a young Arthur and his journey to becoming the King of England.

These are just a few examples, and there are many more King Arthur movies out there. It would be a good idea to read reviews or watch trailers to choose a movie that aligns with the specific Arthurian legend you want to illustrate in your presentation.
