I read The Andromeda Strain and I have to make an outline of the scientific method using Examples from the book.

This is what I have so far:

ASK-
"What killed all the people in
Piedmont"?

RESEARCH-
When they released the germ into
the cage with the mouse to see if
the virus was transmitted by air.
(It was.)

HYPOTHESIS-
After the research they did, the
scientists knew that the virus was
transmitted by air. So, they
Predicted that the virus would
star in the lungs and spread
outward to the rest of the body.

EXPERIMENT-
The scientists then did the same
test on a monkey as they had on
the rat, because a monkey's make- up is similar to a human's. They
also used a filter, testing the
size of the virus. They stared
with a small one and kept
increasing in size until the rat
was dead.

Now, I'm stuck ANALYZE. I want to stay on the same track- (giving examples of the "airborn" test" But what sort of thing should I put for analyze??
Also, is what I have so far good??

What you have done so far looks good. Now ask yourself if what they did was the best thing to do. Why or why not?
