Here is one I wrote sometime ago (and hold the copyright to):

"A Summer's Night"
Calm and peaceful is the night,
All the stars are gleeming bright;
Just a gentle evening breeze
Is tenderly flirting with some leaves.
Then, suddenly, vivid and strong
A turbulent storm is coming along;
Thunder is roaring through the sky,
Like Zeus raging on Olympus high.
Like a herd of buffalo stampeding through
While a frightened owl is asking "Who?"
But just as sudden as it began
The storm has departed again;
The thunder is roaring no more
And it's calm and peaceful - like before.

Finding a specific poem based on its starting word can be a challenging task, but there are a few approaches you can take to find what you're looking for:

1. Utilize online poetry databases: Websites like Poetry Foundation (poetryfoundation.org) or PoemHunter (poemhunter.com) offer extensive collections of poems by numerous poets. You can search for specific words or phrases and filter the results by country, poet, or other criteria.

2. Engage with poetry communities: Joining online forums or communities dedicated to poetry enthusiasts can be helpful. Platforms like PoetrySoup (poetrysoup.com) or AllPoetry (allpoetry.com) allow you to connect with fellow poetry lovers who may be able to help you find a poem starting with the letter "C."

3. Consult anthologies or poetry collections: Books or anthologies specifically curated by UK poets could be an excellent resource. Classic anthologies such as "The Oxford Book of English Verse" or collections by renowned British poets like William Wordsworth, Robert Browning, or T.S. Eliot might contain poems beginning with "C." Local libraries or online bookstores can be helpful in finding these resources.

4. Explore handwritten or illustrated poetry books: Local independent bookstores or second-hand booksellers may have unique poetry books that aren't as easily discoverable online. These often contain lesser-known poems or those with specific themes, which could increase your chances of finding a poem starting with "C."

Remember to be patient and persistent during your search, as locating a specific poem based on its starting word might require some time and effort.
