Need help with this--
38. Write in decimal notation: 2.34 x 10^6
How would I do this? Can someone please show me all the steps?
Thanks
-MC
The exponent tells you how many places to move the decimal and to what direction. A positive exponent would move the decimal to the right. A negative exponent would move it to the left. (add 0's once you use up the numbers you have.) The number tells you how many places to move. Post your answer if you'd like it checked.
