Can you please proofread this for grammar and spelling. If there is anything that needs to be changed please let me know. I was denied financial aid for college because they said that my dad made to much money but my dad has been unemployed for the last year. So this is a brief letter to go with our appeal forms.

May 4, 2009 my father lost his job and still is currently unemployed. We applied for financial aid for the 2010/2011 school year and were denied federal aid. When we received the letter in the mail stating that we were denied aid my parents couldn't believe it. They were confused because we had received aid for Fall 2009 and Winter 2010 and my dad wasn't working then. Unfortunately my Dad's unemployment runs out at the end of this month. Once these benefits expire there will be no money coming into our household. The entire family is sadden buy the situation that we are in. Words can't explain what it would mean to my parents and myself if I were to receive federal aid, so I can continue to go to school to conquer my dreams. It breaks my heart to say that I might have to drop out of school because financially we can't afford it. Please take our family's situation into consideration and all we can do as a family is to hope for the best.

Good luck, Natalie. I wish you the best.

Words cannot express what it would mean to my parents and myself if I were to receive federal aid, so I can continue to pursue my dreams through education. It breaks my heart to say that I might have to drop out of school because we cannot afford it financially. Please take our family's situation into consideration. All we can do as a family is hope for the best.

Just a few notes on grammar and spelling:

1. Instead of "to much money," it should be "too much money."
2. "Sadden" should be "saddened."
3. Instead of "buy the situation," it should be "by the situation."
4. It should be "sadness" instead of "saddened" in the phrase "The entire family is saddened."
5. "Buy" should be "but" in the phrase "Words can't explain what it would mean."
6. "Conquer" should be "pursue" in the phrase "conquer my dreams."
7. "Financially" should be placed before "we can't afford it."

Overall, the content and message of your letter are clear. Good luck with your appeal!
