Please Help!
In our everyday environment, diffraction is much more evident for sound waves than for light waves. Why is this true?

  1. Sound wavelengths are mostly the size you can measure with a ruler and everyday objects like houses and furniture and fences are the size of some audible sound wavelength. Light wavelengths are far smaller than ordinary objects and you need something really tiny to notice diffraction from them.
