Sorry I nee to add something. The Ka for HF = 1 x 10^-3.

Is 50.0 mL of 1.0 M HF and 25.0 mL of 1.0 M NaOH a buffer with an approximate pH of 3?

I say yes. Right?

  1. See my earlier post. Using Ka = 1 x 10^-3, yes, pH = 3.
