PROJECT

1. Describe a business “case” – from mass media, Internet, or real life identify a business that does or doesn’t protect the environment. Indicate the source of your research. (two pages)
2. Presuming you have your own business, what would you do as a manager or owner of a business to protect the environment, what stance would you chose? In your opinion, what is a company’s responsibility toward the environment? (describe your business first) (two-three pages)

Note: The project has to be presented in a binder. Create a cover page, table of content, footnotes and a bibliography at the end. Be creative, include pictures, comments, notes, motto…

To complete this project, you should follow these steps:

1. Research and Find a Case:
- Choose a business case that either protects the environment or does not protect the environment.
- You can find examples of such cases from mass media, the Internet, or real-life scenarios.
- Conduct thorough research to collect enough information about the chosen case.
- Take note of the source(s) of your research to include them in your project.

2. Write a Two-Page Description:
- Start with an introduction paragraph that provides an overview of the chosen business case.
- Explain the business operations, products, or services provided by the company.
- Describe how the business either protects or does not protect the environment and provide specific examples.
- Analyze the impact of the business on the environment, both positive and negative.
- Use factual information and supporting evidence to strengthen your arguments.
- Cite the sources you used to conduct your research.

3. Describe Your Own Business:
- Imagine you have your own business and describe it in detail.
- Include information about the type of business, products or services offered, target market, location, etc.
- Consider the potential impact of your business on the environment.

4. Define Your Stance and Responsibilities:
- As the owner or manager of your business, determine what stance you would take regarding environmental protection.
- Explain why you would choose this particular stance in relation to your business operations.
- Elaborate on the specific steps or measures you would take to protect the environment.
- Justify your decisions and elaborate on the potential benefits for both the environment and your business.

5. Write a Two to Three-Page Explanation:
- Begin this section by introducing your business, its operations, and target market.
- Clearly outline your chosen stance and explain the reasons behind it.
- Discuss the responsibilities of your company towards the environment and how they align with your chosen stance.
- Describe any initiatives, policies, or practices you would implement to protect the environment.
- Justify the importance of environmental responsibility for businesses in general.
- Use logical reasoning and supporting evidence to strengthen your arguments.

6. Create the Binder:
- Design a cover page that reflects the project topic and includes relevant visuals.
- Include a table of contents to guide the reader through your project.
- Add footnotes throughout your project to provide references for specific information or quotes used.
- Create a bibliography at the end, providing a list of all the sources you used for your research.
- Be creative by including pictures, comments, notes, a motto, or any other elements that enhance the presentation.
