i am on windows media player tryin to make a mix cd. i made a playlist but i wanna cut some parts into smaller pieces like if i only want a certain part of the song then it will continue to the next song does any1 no how to do that ..Like how to cut the songs into 2 cetain parts btw.i am using windows media player.?

To cut parts of songs and create specific sections for your mix CD using Windows Media Player, follow these steps:
1. Open Windows Media Player on your computer.
2. Click on the "Library" tab at the top of the screen to access your saved music library.
3. Locate the songs you want to edit in the library, and then drag and drop them into the "Burn" tab on the right sidebar. This will add the songs to the burn list.
4. Once you have added all the songs you want to include in your mix CD, click on the "Burn options" button located at the top-right corner of the burn list.
5. From the drop-down menu, select "Audio CD". This will ensure that your CD is burned in the proper format.
6. Next, select and drag the songs from the burn list to the "List" area located below. This will allow you to edit the individual songs.
7. Right-click on the song you want to edit and select "Edit". A new window will open.
8. In the new window, you will see a waveform representation of the song. This waveform will allow you to visualize the song and pinpoint the specific parts you want to cut.
9. To cut a section of a song, first, identify the start and end points of the section by using the playback controls at the bottom of the window. These controls allow you to play, pause, and rewind the song.
10. Once you have identified the desired start and end points, click and drag on the waveform representation to highlight the section you want to cut. You can use the zoom features at the bottom-right corner of the window to get a more precise selection if needed.
11. After you have selected the desired section, click on the "Cut" button at the top-left corner of the window. The selected section will be removed from the song, creating a new file with just the cut portion.
12. The cut section will appear as a new song in the list area below. You can drag and arrange these cut portions or delete them as desired.
13. Repeat steps 7-12 for each song you want to edit.
14. Once you have finished editing your songs, click the "Start burn" button located at the top-right corner of the burn list.
15. Insert a blank CD into your computer's CD/DVD drive.
