Please help me I have been trying to get the answer and for some reason is not coming up correct can someone please help.

evaluate the polynomial for x=1
3x^2-4x+6

What is 3-4+6?

that will be 5 so you are saying that my answer is 5? I though that because it was positive my answers was going to be differents.

For example I had x=-1
4x^3+8x-3x-2 and after doing all the problems my answer was 13, but the x was a negative one that was the reason I though this was done differently. Thank you very much.

Of course, I'll be happy to help you with evaluating the polynomial for x=1. Let's go step by step to get the correct answer.

First, substitute the value of x into the polynomial expression:

3(1)^2 - 4(1) + 6

Next, simplify the exponents and perform the multiplication and addition/subtraction:

3(1^2) - 4(1) + 6
3(1) - 4(1) + 6
3 - 4 + 6
-1 + 6
5

Therefore, when x is equal to 1, the value of the polynomial 3x^2 - 4x + 6 is 5.

If you were getting a different result, it's possible that there might have been an error in your calculations. Make sure to double-check each step and ensure you're following the correct order of operations (PEMDAS/BODMAS) while evaluating.
