I have a history worksheet asking who administrated the German quadrants post WWII (It's looking for one word, not all of the countries). Was it the United Nations who administrated the quadrants??

Allies, in WW2, French, US, Russian, and English

Excerpt From Wikipedia:

No, the United Nations did not directly administer the German quadrants post WWII. The correct answer is the Allies or Allied powers. After World War II, Germany was divided into four occupation zones, each administered by one of the four victorious Allied powers - the United States, the Soviet Union, Great Britain, and France. These zones were called quadrants, and they were meant to ensure that Germany would not pose a threat to world peace again. Each country was responsible for governing and rebuilding their respective zones. The occupation of Germany by the Allies lasted until the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) and the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) were established in 1949.
