Science Physics Energy
What is chemical potential energy?? :)
It's the energy stored in chemicals. It is released when the chemicals react. For example,
sodium hydroxide + hydrochloric acid produces sodium chloride + water + heat. The heat is the energy released when the sodium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid neutralize each other. This is also called the heat of neutralization.
