Find the component form of v given its magnitude and the anlge it makes with the positive a-axis.

v=3 v in the direction 3i + 4J

Would the component form be (3,4)?

I showed you about unit vectors.

(3,4) gives you the direction of the vector.
You can use the tangent to find the angle
tan ß = 4/3
ß = 53.12º

But don't you want your vector to have a length of 3 ?
so the unit vector along (3,4) is (3/5,4/5)
3 times that length would be
(9/5, 12/5)

check: length = √((9/5)^2 + (12/5)^2) = √(225/25) = 3
