34. The heart is divided into two major sections with two chambers in each section. Tell an easy way to remember which section carries oxygenated blood and deoxygenated blood, the chamber the blood enters first, and the second chamber the blood exits from.

I think the chamber that blood enters first is pulmonary arteries...? and it exits from aorta?
Well, I need help on this..especially with the first part of an easy way to remember which section carries what blood.

Thanks

To remember which section of the heart carries oxygenated and deoxygenated blood, as well as the chamber the blood enters first and exits from, you can use the mnemonic SPAT:

S - Superior vena cava and Inferior vena cava (carry deoxygenated blood)
P - Pulmonary arteries (carry deoxygenated blood)
A - Aorta (carries oxygenated blood)
T - Pulmonary veins (carry oxygenated blood)

Here's how it works:

1. The Superior and Inferior vena cava are the two major blood vessels that bring deoxygenated blood from the body back into the heart. So, vena cava sounds like "CArries VEnous blood" (deoxygenated), which helps you remember that deoxygenated blood is carried by these vessels.

2. From the right atrium, the blood moves into the right ventricle and then gets pumped through the pulmonary arteries. "Pulmonary" sounds like "PA carries" (PA for pulmonary arteries), which helps you remember that the pulmonary arteries carry deoxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs.

3. Oxygenated blood from the lungs is brought back to the heart through the pulmonary veins. The word "Pulmonary" preceding "Veins" reminds you that these veins bring back oxygenated blood to the heart.

4. Finally, the left ventricle pumps the oxygenated blood into the aorta, which carries it to the rest of the body. The word "Aorta" starts with "A" for "artery," helping you remember that it carries oxygenated blood.

Using the mnemonic SPAT (superior and inferior vena cava, pulmonary arteries, aorta, and pulmonary veins) should help you remember which section carries oxygenated and deoxygenated blood and which chamber the blood enters first and exits from in a simplified way.
