What is the domain of f/g?
f(x) = x / x+1 g(x) = x^3
Please explain! Thank you
So I take it that
f/g = [x/(x+1)]/x^3
= 1/((x^2)(x+1))
so the domain is the set of real numbers, except x cannot be zero, and x cannot be -1
