= sin^2 x (1/sinx) = sinx

2) log ₇(3√x/x^(2y))
= log ₇ 3 + (1/2)log ₇ x - (2y)log ₇ x
= log ₇ 3 + (1/2 - 2y)log ₇

for 3) did you want to find f(g(x)) ??
what you typed would simply be
f(g) = g^2 + 2g

if it is f(g(x))
then
= (2x)^2 + 2(2x) = 4x^2 + 4x
