The introduction is the last thing you should write.
First decide on a thesis statement. Then outline the three or four supports for your thesis. Write about each of these supports in a separate paragraph. Once the body of your paper is written, then you'll be in a position of introducing it. You can't introduce a topic without knowing what you are introducing.
