Can someone help me and write the answers to these tasks (especially the last sentence in the 2nd task)

What’s the time now? What month is it? What year is it?
Look at these sentences. Can you replace since with for? Make the necessary changes.

1 He has been running for 5 hours.
2 She has been wearing these running shoes for 3 months.
3 He has been taking these vitamins for 2 years.
4 They have been playing together since they were 10. (They are 15 now).

Make sentences using the present perfect continuous with since or for

1 She started playing basketball when she was 12. She is 20 and still playing.
2 They started playing football at 8 o’clock in the morning. They are still playing.
3 He started working as a sports psychologist two years ago. He is still working.
4 She started designing sports shoes 3 years ago. She is still in the same business.
5 Ann moved to Australia to attend the Sports Academy. She is still there.

Thank you

We are not here to do your work for you, but I'll get you started.

2 She has been wearing these running shoes for 3 months.
3 He has been taking these vitamins for 2 years.
4 They have been playing together since they were 10. (They are 15 now).
All 4 of these sentences are fine.

Make sentences using the present perfect continuous with since or for
Remember that present perfect continuous is like this: "has been playing" -- and here's a good webpage to demonstrate this:
http://www.englishpage.com/verbpage/presentperfectcontinuous.html

1 She started playing basketball when she was 12. She is 20 and still playing.
She has been playing basketball for 8 years now, since she was 12.

OK, now -- you try the rest.

No, you got me wrong. I have already solved all these sentences. I am just confused with the las one:

Ann moved to Australia to attend the Sports Academy. She is still there.
Is the answer : Ann has been living in Australia since she attended the Sports Academy? or Ann has been staying in Australia since she attended the Sports Academy. Is that correct? I am not a native speaker so I just wanted to see if this sentence is correct. I have solved everything and I am perfectly clear with everything except this last example.

Ann moved to Australia to attend the Sports Academy. She is still there.

Is the answer : Ann has been living in Australia since she attended the Sports Academy? or Ann has been staying in Australia since she attended the Sports Academy. Is that correct?

Those are fine, but I'd write it this way:

Ann has been living in Australia since she moved there to attend the Sports Academy.

=)

I'd be happy to help you with these tasks!

To get the answers to the first set of questions, you can simply look at the current time, month, and year. You can check the time on your device or by looking at a clock. To find out the month and year, you can check a calendar or look it up online.

Now, let's move on to the second task of replacing "since" with "for" in the given sentences. Here are the revised sentences:

1 He has been running for 5 hours.
2 She has been wearing these running shoes for 3 months.
3 He has been taking these vitamins for 2 years.
4 They have been playing together for 5 years. (They are 15 now).

For the third task of creating sentences using the present perfect continuous with "since" or "for," you can follow these steps:

1 She has been playing basketball since she was 12 and is still playing at 20.
2 They have been playing football since 8 o’clock in the morning and are still playing.
3 He has been working as a sports psychologist since two years ago and is still in the same job.
4 She has been designing sports shoes since 3 years ago and is still in the same business.
5 Ann has been in Australia since she moved there to attend the Sports Academy and she is still there.

By following these steps, you can find the answers to the given tasks. Let me know if you have any further questions!
