I can not figure out the answer to this problem. (^6)(-7^6+5) I'm not sure if that sign is correct. It's suppose to be the symbol that looks like a check mark and goes over the 6 on left and over the 6+5 on right. Please help

Is this the sign? (√)

If so, this means square root of whatever follows.

I hope this helps.

We use the ^ symbol for exponents and sqrt( ) or sqt( )for the square root of something. So do most computerized math sites and programs such as Google and Excel, where the available symbols are limited.

sqrt(6)*(-7sqrt(6)+5)
= -7*6 + 5 srt(6)
= 5 sqrt(6) -42

I believe you are referring to the mathematical notation for the binomial coefficient, denoted as "n choose k" or "nCk." In this case, you have (6 choose 6) times (-7^(6+5)).

To evaluate this expression step-by-step, we first need to find the value of (6 choose 6). The binomial coefficient (n choose k) represents the number of possible combinations of k items that can be selected from a set of n items. When k = n, (n choose k) simplifies to 1. Therefore, (6 choose 6) = 1.

Next, you have -7 raised to the power of (6+5). Evaluating this exponent gives us -7^11.

So, combining the above results, your original expression becomes 1 * (-7^11).

Therefore, the simplified expression is -7^11.

It seems like you're trying to express exponentiation using the format of a binomial coefficient or "n choose k" notation, with a check mark symbol. However, exponentiation is typically represented by a caret symbol (^) or by using parentheses to indicate the base and exponent.

Assuming you mean the expression (6^6)(-7^6 + 5), let's break it down step by step:

1. Start by evaluating the exponentiation operations.

- 6^6 means multiplying 6 by itself six times: 6 * 6 * 6 * 6 * 6 * 6 = 46656.
- 7^6 means multiplying 7 by itself six times: 7 * 7 * 7 * 7 * 7 * 7 = 117,649.

2. Substitute the evaluated expressions back into the original equation:

(6^6)(-7^6 + 5) becomes (46656)(-117649 + 5).

3. Now simplify and calculate the resulting expression:

-117649 + 5 = -117644

Finally, multiply 46656 by -117644:

46656 * -117644 = -5,488,094,464.

Therefore, the answer to the expression (6^6)(-7^6 + 5) is -5,488,094,464.
