i know that the slop intercept form is
y-y1=m(x-x1)
i have to write an equation for a line that has a slope of 6 and contains the point (-8,-7) even with the formula i don't now how, HELP!!!!
If the slope is 6, then
(y - y1) = 6 (x - x1)
Substitute -8 for x1 and -7 for y1 and you will have the equation for the line you want.
