So lately in class, we've been doing stuff on finding the variables in equations.

I've been able to understand it all except for these two problems.

T+4/13=12/39
So I multiplied 4/13 times 3, to make it have the same denominator. so I have 12/39.
but I'm now supposed to subtract that from the first 12/39. and that just gives me 0?

and the second one is 7h=14/33
I tried doing this, but wasn't entirely sure how I should do this?

Yes, T is zero.

On the second, divide both sides by 7
14/(7*33)=2/33
