What is the answer to radical nine?

  1. That's really the square root of 9. Look at the word "square root." What do you see?

    There are two words:
    square - which is a shape I am sure you are familiar with.

    root - which has many meanings. In this case, it is talking about one side of the square.

    So cut out 9 pieces of equally sized square papers. Then lay them out into the biggest square you can. How many pieces of paper are on each side of the square?
