Rewrite the following goal to make it S.M.A.R.T

I want to do well in school this year.

-I want to get As and Bs in all my subjects during my 10 month school year and be on the Role of Distinction. I will spend 2 hours everyday after school from 3-5 completing my homework and studying. I will be able to achieve this....

I need a little help completing the achievable part of my goal.

Thank you very much.

Even with Ms. Sue's point, you still have to look at how this fits into how to look at and measure SMART goals. Here's a good web site to introduce the idea:

http://www.goal-setting-guide.com/smart-goals.html

If you have any questions while reading that, post them on here. If not, try to put the goals into a SMART format. How is that:
--Specific
--Measurable
--Attainable
--Realistic
--Timely

What do you usually do -- or want to do -- from 3 to 5? Many students watch TV or check their FaceBook pages or play computer games when they get home from school. If this applies to you, you could put a sign on the TV or monitor reminding you to do your homework. What will you do if your Mom wants you to do chores or go shopping? What will you do if a friend wants you to hang out? How will you handle any disruption of your scheduled goal of studying from 3 to 5?

To make the goal of doing well in school this year S.M.A.R.T, here's a revised version:

Specific: I want to achieve As and Bs in all my subjects during my 10-month school year and be on the Role of Distinction.
Measurable: I will measure my progress by tracking my grades throughout the year and regularly checking if I am on track for achieving As and Bs.
Achievable: To complete the achievable part of your goal, consider factors like your academic abilities, time management skills, and available resources. Are you realistically capable of putting in the necessary effort and time to accomplish this goal?
Here's an example of how you could complete the achievable part of your goal: I will consult with my teachers, create a study schedule, prioritize my assignments, seek help when needed, and make use of additional learning resources, such as tutoring or study groups. By doing so, I will increase my chances of achieving As and Bs in all my subjects.
Relevant: This goal is relevant as it relates directly to your academic success and personal growth.
Time-bound: I will spend 2 hours every day after school from 3-5 completing my homework and studying, ensuring consistency and giving myself ample time to prepare throughout the school year.

Remember, to accomplish your goal, it's important to stay motivated, seek help when needed, and adjust your study plan if necessary. Good luck!
