Force 1=450 N and it is 10 degrees west of the vertical and Force 2= 380 N and it is 30 degrees easy of the vertical. I have to find the resultant of the two

Net vertical force:

Fy = 450 cos 10 + 380 cos 30

Net horizontal force (east):
Fx = -450 sin 10 + 380 sin 30

resultant force magnitude = sqrt(Fx^2 + Fy^2)

Get the direction tangent from the Fx/Fy ratio
