did industrilasation have a hand in child poverty?

when did child poverty start?
I ahve already googled --- did not help

Yes. Industrialization had a hand in child poverty. Adults and children were paid very low wages in the factories. In addition, they couldn't farm, so didn't grow their own food as some families had previously done.

Throughout all of history, we've always had child poverty. When parents weren't able to feed and clothe their children, they were in poverty.
