Another ionic and net ionic equation that i am having trouble with!!!

I need the ionic and net ionic equation
KOH+ HBr -> KBr+ H2O

To determine the ionic and net ionic equation for the reaction between KOH and HBr, we first need to identify the ions present in each compound.

KOH: KOH dissociates in water to form potassium ions (K⁺) and hydroxide ions (OH⁻).
HBr: HBr dissociates in water to form hydrogen ions (H⁺) and bromide ions (Br⁻).

Now let's write the balanced ionic equation, which shows all the ions involved in the reaction:

K⁺ + OH⁻ + H⁺ + Br⁻ → K⁺ + Br⁻ + H₂O

In the ionic equation, the spectator ions (ions that are present on both sides of the equation and do not participate in the reaction) are potassium ions (K⁺) and bromide ions (Br⁻).

To write the net ionic equation, we exclude the spectator ions:

OH⁻ + H⁺ → H₂O

The net ionic equation represents the actual reaction occurring between the hydroxide ions and hydrogen ions, which results in the formation of water (H₂O).

So, the ionic equation for the reaction between KOH and HBr is K⁺ + OH⁻ + H⁺ + Br⁻ → K⁺ + Br⁻ + H₂O, and the net ionic equation is OH⁻ + H⁺ → H₂O.

What's the problem? These are easy enough if you follow the rules.

The problem is i don't know how to do it....i don't know how to separate the ions that are solubale.....

your teacher should give you a chart with which elements are soluble and insoluble
