Your answer is not wrong, but it isn't "a fraction in simplest terms", because you've brought in a decimal approximation.
Go back a step, to
-87 / (-6/7)
which is where you were before you detoured into decimal-land.
Dividing by 6/7 is the same as multiplying by 7/6, so you can rewrite that as:
(-87)(-7) / 6
= 609 / 6
Factor of 3:
= 203 / 2
