With two documents open, how do you move text and images from one document to the other?

Select what you want; then right-click and choose Copy or Cut. [Be aware that Cut will remove the selected section/words from this document.]

Move your cursor to the place in the second document where you want to paste the text, right-click, and choose Paste.

OR

Select what you want; then press Ctrl + C (for copy) or Ctrl + X (for cut).

Move your cursor to the place in the second document where you want to paste the text, and then press Ctrl + V.

thanks(:

You're welcome! =)

To move text and images from one document to another while having both documents open, you can follow these steps:

1. Open the first document that contains the text and images you want to move.

2. Select the text you want to move: Click and drag your mouse cursor over the desired text to highlight it. If you want to select multiple non-adjacent sections, hold down the Ctrl key (Command key on Mac) while clicking each section.

3. Copy the selected text: Right-click on the highlighted text and choose "Copy" from the context menu that appears. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+C (Command+C on Mac) to copy the text.

4. Switch to the second document: Click on the window or tab of the second document to bring it to the front.

5. Place the cursor where you want to paste the text: Click inside the second document where you want the copied text to appear.

6. Paste the text: Right-click at the desired location and select "Paste" from the context menu. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+V (Command+V on Mac) to paste the text. The copied text will now appear in the second document.

7. Move images between documents: If you want to move images from one document to another, you can typically use the same copy and paste method as with text. However, instead of selecting and copying the text, you would select and copy the image or images you want to transfer. Then, in the second document, paste the image(s) in a suitable location.

Note: The specific steps may vary depending on the software or application you are using to open the documents. Typically, copy and paste commands are available from the application's Edit menu or via right-clicking within the document. Additionally, some applications may have specific options for copying and moving objects like images.
