# Pre-Calc

Consider a triangle ABC. C is a right angle, and side a is opposite angle A, side b is opposite angle B, and side c is the hypotenuse.
The measure of side a= 2, side b= 7, and side c= 7.3
How do you find the angle measure of A and B based on the lengths of the sides?

SinAngleB=7/7.3
so AngleB= arcsin 7/7.3

and AngleA=arcsin 2/7.3

Find f^-1(x). Give the domain of f^-1(x),including any restrictions "inherited" from f.

f(x)= 5x-2

We have to use a caluclator of trig table. We can only find the angles based on the sides for certain values. If you've just started trig you should cover these special values somewhere soon.
We know sin(A)=2/7.3 and cos(A)=7/7.3
A is approx. 15.95deg
We know sin(B)=7/7.3 and cos(B)=2/7.3
B is approx 74.05deg
