-3(2x+3-8)<-15

could someone please let me know how to start this problem?? I tend to freakout and freeze... when there are parenthesis

I freak out when there are no parentheses, because they are often needed to explain the order of operations when doing calculations.

The first step in this problem should be to multiply out the parentheses term by the coefficient in front, giving the result
-6x +15 < -15
-6x < -30
Multiply both sides by the negative number -1 and change the direction of the > sign. This gives:
6x > 30
Now divide both sides by +6
x > 5
