Is this the right way to do this problem?

3(x+6)-4>2(x+4
-3(6+5)<8(7-3)
my answer:
3(x+6)-4>2(x+4)then 3x+18-4>2x+8then3x+14>2x+8then3x-2x>8-14thenx>6 is it correct?
Thanks

Don't chain your statements into one long line.

Present it this way :

3(x+6)-4>2(x+4)
3x+18-4>2x+8
3x+14>2x+8
3x-2x>8-14
x>-6 , (you had a +6 in your last line)

BTW, what is the purpose of your second line in your post, and where did it come from ?
