What is the prime factoization for 54 but I need to know how it looks like in a "Factorization Tree"

Thanks Please Help!!!

okay, first you have to start with the number 54, then you have to think of two multiples of that number, if one is prime, circle it, then continue down the line, and when you can go anymore, take the circled numbers and but them into a multiplication sentence, it looks like this:

54
/ /
(2) 27
/ /
(3) 9
/ /
(3) (3)
3^3*2
above is ur answer it is 3 to the third power because there are 3 threes. (the perenthesis represent a circle.)
Hope this helps!!

Thanks So much you are the best!!

no problem, sorry the tree didn't turn out how i typed it, i hope you get the idea!

yes i understood it but there are like 3 more question i don`t get!!

To find the prime factorization of a number, we need to determine the prime numbers that multiply together to give that number. In this case, we want to find the prime factorization of 54.

1. Start by finding the smallest prime number that divides evenly into 54. The smallest prime number is 2, and it divides evenly into 54, giving us (2, 27).

2. Now, we need to find the prime factorization of 27. Repeat the process from step 1 for 27: the smallest prime number that divides evenly into 27 is 3, giving us (3, 9).

3. Repeat step 2 for 9: the smallest prime number that divides evenly into 9 is 3, giving us (3, 3).

4. Since 3 is a prime number and cannot be further factorized, we can stop here.

Now, let's represent this prime factorization using a factorization tree:

54
/ \
2 27
/ \
3 9
\
3

So, the prime factorization of 54 is 2^1 * 3^3, where "^" represents exponentiation.
