I'm suppose to find the sin, cos, and tan of the degrees.
all you really need are the values up to 90
If you know the CAST rules, the others become trivial.
You should also be familiar with the ratios of the 30-60-90 and the 45-45-90 triangles
here are the first few values

0 -- 0 -- 1 -- 0
30 - 1/2 √3/2 1/√3
45 - 1/√2 1/√2 1
60 - √3/2 1/2 √3
90 - 1 -- 0 - undefined
After 35 years of teaching this stuff, I don't ever recall making a conscious effort to memorize these values, instead I "memorized" the triangles.

Use the CAST rule to determine the sign if necessary.
btw, the "-" was not intended as a negative sign, all the values above are positive.
