Im doing physics 20 in correspondance this summer, and Im stuck on a question about Refraction... and Snell's law.

The question is...

A ray of light is incident upon a 60-60-60 degree prism, n=1.5. Then it shows a diagram , and it asks to find the angle of reflection.. and other angles within the prism.

my question is, is that are there any resources around in the internet where I can find practise questions to help me with this question. thanks

actually i got the answer never mind.

sin r=sini/n=sin45/1.5=>r=sin-1[sin45/1.5]=28.13degree
....

part b is 31.87

Yes, there are many online resources where you can find practice questions to help you with your understanding of refraction and Snell's law. Here are a few popular websites that offer practice questions and explanations:

1. Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org): Khan Academy provides a wide variety of educational materials, including videos, practice exercises, and quizzes on various topics, including physics. You can browse their physics section and look for specific topics related to refraction and Snell's law.

2. Physics Classroom (www.physicsclassroom.com): Physics Classroom offers comprehensive resources and tutorials on various physics topics, including refraction. They have interactive simulations, videos, and practice problems with detailed explanations to help you understand the concepts better.

3. Physics Forums (www.physicsforums.com): Physics Forums is an online community where you can ask questions and discuss physics topics with experts and other learners. They have a dedicated section for homework and coursework questions, where you can post specific problems and get help from the community.

4. Quizlet (www.quizlet.com): Quizlet is a popular platform for creating and sharing flashcards. You can search for flashcards related to refraction, Snell's law, or specific physics topics, which can be a useful tool for self-assessment and practicing concepts.

Remember, it's important to practice solving various types of problems to improve your understanding and problem-solving skills in physics. Use these resources to find both conceptual explanations and practice problems to reinforce your knowledge.
