ALGEBRA--- Translate each verbal expression into an algebraic expression. Then, simplify the expression.

1. Two sets of the sum of a number and eight are added to five time the same number.

2. Three sets of a sum of a number and four are added to the sum of seven times the same number and thirteen.

Three sets of a sum of a number and four are added to the sum of seven times the same number and thirteen.

I believe it is the same as the first question. It really the same question just changed up a little bit.

3(N+4)+7N+13
3N+12+7N+13
10N+25 <--- That right there is your answer.

1. Two sets of the sum of a number and eight are added to five time the same number.

Let the number be N,

2(N+8)+5N
=2N+16+5N
=7N+16

2. Three sets of a sum of a number and four are added to the sum of seven times the same number and thirteen.

The second problem is very similar to the first. You should have no problem working it out.
