How do you write Douglas Adams in the plural tense? Is it Adams' or Adams's or Adamses? I don't know which one to use when? Please help!

Also, why are the Norman High School Library computers blocked?

We block computers that are habitually used for vulgarity, threats, harassment, or cyber vandalism. In this case, it occured about two weeks ago. This site is a safe place for students to come for homework help, and will remain so. It appears those computers are not monitored by responsible adults. In about a week, we can try again to see if those computers can act in a civil manner towards the rest of the cyber world. Thanks for understanding, and sorry it put you in a temporary fix.

If you are talking about two Douglas Adams - Douglas Adamses. If you are talking about something belonging to one Douglas Adams - Douglas Adams'.

Here is a good site: http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/plurals.htm

My English IV class found out about the website and went crazy on it. They probably forgot about it by now. Melissa and I like using this link for our homework help during school hours.

Douglas Adams wrote the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. How do I write his last name like:

"Adams' book won this award."

"Adams' book won this award" is correct. Adams' is possessive, not plural in this sentence.

Ok! Thankyou!

You're welcome! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
