Find the distance between the pair of points (-6.2,4.6)(-4.5,0.6) i have the distance as 141.50 and their answer is 4.35. how did they get this answer i squared 141.50 and still did not get 4.35

The distance is the hypotenuse of the right triangle with a vertical leg distance of 4.6 - 0.6 = 4.0 and a horizontal leg distance of (-4.5) - (-6.2) = 1.7

The hypotenuse
= ( (4.0)^2 + (1.7)^2 )^0.5
= (16.0 + 2.89)^0.5
= 4.35
