It's been a while since I posted a question here :]
I'm writing an essay on schizophrenia and this is all I have so far. There is no limit to how long it can be, I just don't know what order I should write the issues in. Some sites giving more information on this illness would be helpful too; this is what I have so far:
Schizophrenia is a mental illness that generally strikes in late teenage years or early adulthood, but can hit at any time in life. It can happen to anyone, no matter what their gender, race, or social class is. People with schizophrenia may hear voices other people don't hear or they may believe that others are reading their minds, controlling their thoughts, or plotting to harm them. These experiences are frightening and can cause terror, withdrawal, or extreme anxiety. People with schizophrenia may not make sense when they converse, may sit for hours without moving or talking much, or may seem perfectly fine until they speak about what they are really thinking. There is no single cause for this disease and it occurs in 1 percent of the U.S population.(That’s about 3 million people) The general 10 symptoms of schizophrenia are:
1. Delusions (believing things that are not true)
2. Hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that are not there)
3. Disorganized thinking
4. Agitation
5. Disorganized speech
6. Disorganized behavior
7. Lack of initiative
8. Social withdrawal
9. Apathy
10. Emotional unresponsiveness
Living with a schizophrenic person can be difficult because the affected person will be unable to communicate in a regular manner and will be in his/her own world. They will have mood swings and the family and others who cooperate with this person will not know how he/she will behave. They may get paranoid on certain issues and it can be very difficult to move them.

OK It's not letting me post the list... so I'll ignore that. Here's the last part to the essay:

The first thing you need to do is write your thesis sentence. These sites will help you formulate this thesis statement.

Then, make an outline of the points you want to make that support your thesis statement.
After that, you're ready to write your essay, using your outline as a guide.
