The term race to be means the way a person distinguishes how one looks at ones skin color, facial features, ancestry and genetics to determine what racial group he or she belong to. As to the word ethnicity this word means to me the social construction that indicates identity with a particular group which is often descended from common ancestor.

Why are the concepts of race and ethnicity important to the United States society, because it makes us that much stronger when it comes to understanding different parts of the world and how they work? In the future, if nobody is available to proofread your work, you can do this yourself. After writing your material, put it aside for a day — at least several hours. (This breaks mental sets you might have that keep you from noticing problems.) Then read it aloud as if you were reading someone else's work. (Reading aloud slows down your reading, so you are less likely to skip over problems.)

If your reading goes smoothly, that is fine. However, wherever you "stumble" in your reading, other persons are likely to have a problem in reading your material. Those "stumbles" indicate areas that need revising.

Once you have made your revisions, repeat the process above. Good papers often require many drafts.

I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.

In the first sentence, I missed "ones," which is supposed to be the possessive, "one's." Also try not to end a sentence with a preposition, which is supposed to indicate some relationship to an object — "belongs to" what? That verb also needs to match the person and number.

Also I need to correct my response, "In the salad, various parts maintain their distinctive 'flavors.'"

Sorry.

I hope this helps a little more. Thanks for asking.
