If I am making a map that has a distance of 200 mm, and the actual distance is 700m. How do I find the calculations to know how much each mm is?

You can set up a proportion with x being the number of meters represented by each mm.

200 mm / 700 m = 1 mm / x

If you post your answer, I'll be glad to check it.

Would it be 3.5 meters?

Sorry, I think the first answer I submitted would be wrong because I did not change to common terms. Therefore, I think my correct answer would be
1 mm = .0035meters. Is that correct?

or would it be that .0035 mm = 1meter?
