What is the mathematical name for the repeating bar that we place over the repetend?

This is the term given in the Oxford English dictionary: vinculum.
But I seriously doubt many mathematicians would know this Bob.
All I've ever heard it called is: that horizontal bar over the repeating part.

The mathematical name for the repeating bar that we place over the repetend is called a vinculum. However, it is important to note that this term may not be widely known or used among mathematicians. In practice, most people simply refer to it as the horizontal bar over the repeating part. So, while vinculum is the technically correct term, it is more common to use a descriptive phrase to refer to the repeating bar.
