Scroll down to where it says Three to Six Authors and you can see a good example there.

It looks as if you are including last and first names, but you should use last names and then just initials.

Also the closing parenthesis after 2004 is missing.

Make sure that the title of the magazine itself (not the article) is in italics on the page you turn in.

Please re-post if you need more feedback.

=)

Early Childhood Education and volume number need to be in italics. It needs the URL (address) or Database the article was retrieved at the end. “The reference list must be double-spaced, and entries should have a hanging indent [0.5 in.]” (American Psychological Association [APA], 2001, p. 216).

Based on the information you provided, it seems that there are a few issues with the reference format. In order to correct it, you can follow the guidelines provided in the Purdue OWL website.

First, when listing multiple authors, you should use their last names and initials rather than including their full first names. The correct format for the authors in this case would be: Isbell, R., Sobol, J., Lindauer, L., & Lourance, A.

Secondly, you should include the publication year within parentheses, but it seems there is a missing closing parenthesis after 2004. Please make sure to include it.

Next, the title of the journal itself (Early Childhood Education) should be in italics, along with the volume number (32) and issue number (3). This can be done by using proper formatting options when typing or writing the reference.

It is also important to include the retrieval information, such as the date you accessed the article and the URL or database where you found it. The format for this information can vary depending on the citation style you are using.

Lastly, remember to adhere to formatting guidelines such as double-spacing the reference list and using a hanging indent for each entry.

Using the resources from the Purdue OWL website and following the guidelines specific to your citation style (such as APA, MLA, etc.) will help you correctly format your journal reference.
