Can someone please give me an example of a chemical reaction of scandium with oxygen?

Thanks

that's awesome, thank you! :)

You're welcome.

Sorry, I've got another question for you.. can you give me a site showing some uses of Sc2O3? I've been searching but I don't think I've found what I'm looking for. Would the main commerical use be for antireflective UV coatings on semiconductors, or is it used more for something else?

??

Yeah, that's the one I found too - I was just wondering if that is the most common commercial use

Based on the information available, it seems that the most common commercial use of Sc2O3 is for antireflective UV coatings on semiconductors. However, it is possible that there may be other uses as well that are not widely documented.

The most common commercial use of Sc2O3 is indeed for antireflective UV coatings on semiconductors. This coating is applied to enhance the performance and durability of semiconductors in various electronic devices. It helps to reduce reflection and increase light transmission, improving the efficiency and overall quality of the semiconductor components.
